Ziferblat to open new MediaCityUK co-working space
MediaCityUK’s newest creative co-working space, Tomorrow will become home to Manchester’s second branch of pay-per-minute sitting room, Ziferblat.
The founder and Managing Director of MediaCityUK based Vaioni, Sachin Vaish has been named in the 2019 ‘42 Under 42’ awards for the North West. Sachin’s success started at age 21 when he formed his first business providing connectivity into student accommodation.
Here he won Young Asian Entrepreneur in 2003 and ultimately sold the business in 2006.
Looking for a new challenge, in 2008 he then invested the money to develop a disruptive Internet Service Provider that focused on delivering high-speed connectivity combined with stellar customer service in and around London, eventually taking it National. That company, Vaioni, has since experienced success after success, winning a string of business awards and high-profile clients including providing a robust connectivity solution for the Royal Wedding last summer. In the last year, the business has relocated to MediaCity UK, attracted significant investment from Panoramic and is poised on a significant 5-year growth plan to build one of the most powerful networks in the UK.
Sachin commented:
“I am humbled to be part of the 42U42 club and for all of Vaioni; being noticed amongst great entrepreneurs for the hard work and sacrifice we all have made and continue to make, to create something special for our amazing people and customers!”
Conceived to challenge the stereotypical misnomer that all successful entrepreneurs are 50+, the North West 42 Under 42 awards will be celebrated at an invite-only dinner on October 7th. Identifying the North Wests’ brightest business talent, its alumni include: the Kamanis, Tom Bloxham, Esther McVey, Beth Tweddle and the Issa brothers to name but a few. This year’s event showcases the people who will form the next generation of successful business leaders and business owners.
The award hasn’t persuaded Sachin to slow down his development strategy for Vaioni, as the business continues to invest in its network rollout and delivering new products to its customers. The MDs ultimate aim is for Vaioni to become the leader in delivering digital transformation solutions to business customers, with its national superfast connectivity platform and SDN being at the heart of its technology stack.
