Mason Advisory receives Queen’s Award
Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Greater Manchester, Warren Smith, visited Mason Advisory in MediaCityUK to formally present the company with a prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise.
The aim of Urban Car Spa is to help some of the thousands of ex-forces workers who leave the military every year, by helping them to reintegrate into employment.
Ex-army officer, Jonny Rees-Davies says: “One of the toughest battles for many who serve our country is when they leave the armed forces and look for employment. It can be a tough transition, but by offering employment in one of our UK-wide car washes and valet operations, our ex-military heroes get to work in a commercial environment, in a team structure that is familiar to them and in return, we get people that we can rely on to do an excellent job.”
Urban Car Spa places great emphasis on being environmentally friendly and as such, uses a waterless wash. This means that they save up to 40 litres, or half a bath of water per wash compared to a pressure washer.
