Kirsty Wark chairs broadcast debate for relaunched media conference
Newsnight presenter Kirsty Wark will chair a high profile debate on the future of broadcasting at the relaunch of the University of Salford’s Nations and Regions Media Conference.
The venue will be located adjacent to the expansive waterfront (on the walkway between MediaCityUK and The Lowry Outlet) and will have floor to ceiling glazing (and external terrace/deck over the water) windows offering wonderful views across the whole site, including the new home for ITV’s Coronation Street.
Designed by Manchester based Reid Architects the building is 450 square metres/4,850 square feet seating 100 dining covers, seated bar covers: 45 and terrace covers: 65.
The Alchemist at MediaCityUK will follow openings planned for Liverpool, Birmingham and Alderley Edge this year.
Stephen Wild, managing director, MediaCityUK said: “The Alchemist quickly made its mark in Manchester and is distinguished for its stylish yet inviting interiors, creative mixologists and varied food menu – so we are delighted they’ll be expanding their brand here at MediaCityUK. The community here is constantly evolving and it’s vital to have a diverse, high quality offering of bars and restaurants”.
